Nominations Guidelines

How to Apply

Any CSDA member in good standing is invited to announce their candidacy for a CSDA elected position or as member of the ADA delegation no later than January 31, 2023. Each candidate is required to submit the following to the Executive Director:

  • Letter of Intent (max. 3 pages)
  • Curriculum Vitae (max. 2 pages)
  • Signed Conflict of Interest Statement

In addition to the three items above, candidacy to the ADA delegation must also submit a signed and dated information sheet.

After January 31, 2023, other nominations may be made to the Executive Director at least 45 days (March 22, 2022) prior to the opening of the Annual Session of the HOD by petition of at least 5% of the members or 2/3 of the delegates of any one district of the Association. There will be no nominations made from the floor of the House of Delegates unless a position has no candidate.

For 2023 elections, all candidates who provide nominations material by the deadline will be placed on the ballot for the election to take place at the House of Delegates on May 10, 2023.
